It is hard to believe that I am writing my own Tupperware story. Just a few years ago, I was doing a Tupperware google-search in Charlotte and found Marcia and Charlie Brown. I started reading their story and browsing around to their team stories and thought, "wow." Then, I came up with 1,000 excuses and talked myself right out of any interest I had due to concerns around fear. I simply didn't know what people might think of me when they heard I was a "Tupperware Lady."

Well, it took me a while, but I conquered my fear and realized that those "wow" stories are real people just like you and me. In January, I started looking at my personal and professional goals and took a moment to ponder where my life might be in five or 10 years if I keep doing what I am currently doing. The moment I peered down that road, I realized that I wanted more in life. I immediately became focused on finding a career that aligned with my dreams and could give me three things: financial stability, flexibility with my schedule and personal fulfillment. I re-visited that Tupperware site again and then contacted my Consultant to get started.

Today, I am inspired and incredibly grateful that I said "yes" to the Tupperware opportunity. In less than three months I have earned free products for my home, increased my income, built a team, qualified for Jubilee, promoted to Manager and shook hands with our company President. I never imagined that I would be able to achieve what I had always dreamed life could be. Tupperware is a gift, and I am so thankful I accepted it.
One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that this business is not about selling plastic bowls. And it is not about me. Tupperware is about helping others live well and reach their dreams. It is about educating others in how to live healthy and organized lifestyles while saving money and our environment. It is about being able to give back and change our world for the better. It is also about being there for my family and living my dreams instead of sitting behind a desk in the corporate world feeling afraid to fly.

I am so grateful for my Powersouth Team who consistently encourages and inspire me to be greater. You are reflections of integrity, hard work and incredible faith. To Heather Shaw, thank you for believing in me and coaching me with patience. I am incredibly grateful you chose me to join your team. To my Directors, Marcia and Charlie Brown, you exemplify true leadership, grace and perseverance. I want to be more like you. To my amazing team, I am so proud of you. Keep reaching for your dreams and do not slow down. I believe in each of you! You are becoming leaders and I will see you at the top. To my loyal clients, thank you for using and loving Tupperware. This would not be possible without you!
